Aeronautic & space

Since the 1950’s, air traffic has continued to grow, democratising air travel while at the same time increasing significantly the impact on the environment.

Having steadily improved aircrafts over the past 70 years, the aeronautical industry now needs to embark on an ecological transformation. More than any other sector, it must be sustainable.

All the major operators in the Western aeronautics industry are working to reduce the impact of aviation on the environment: Airbus’s hydrogen-powered aircraft project (ZEROe), SAFRAN’s ultra-efficient engine (RISE), alternative fuel (SAF), optimisation of flight corridors.

The setec group’s extensive know-how and commitment to the environment enable us to work alongside the major European companies in the aeronautical industry (Airbus, DGAC-DSNA, SAFRAN) on their projects to develop a more environmentally-friendly means of transport, while strengthening the position of the European aeronautical industry in the world.
